Is it back to its best after the shocker that was the last one?

Best PF I have watched in a long time. Some cracking fights there tonight and the best man won. I agree with what was posted on other threads that Arthur should have gone through to the final instead of a sub.

It was very good.Excellent,close match-ups throughout.I doubted it would be a success at the lighter weights but was happy to be wrong.If you put in eight lads all roughly the same level,i dont think you can go wrong,the rewards are that good.I bet Munroe wont have earned much more than that in one night,if at all.

super bantam's always been a high risk, exciting division, from top level down to domestic.

Gutted we didn't get to see a Casey Vs Owen final, but it was still a very enjoyable show.

Best one yet!! It was brilliant every fight (other than Arthur-Turley) was a cracker, Casey deserved his victory overall (though I felt Wale beat him), it was a great night of boxing. Reid vs Owen was a cracker both showed heart and skill, Wale-Casey was another cracker! I still think its flawed how the sub can come in and win after 1 fight. I think Arthur should of been put into the final after the injury to Owen

Fantastic show. Some great fights.

How much money did the reserve pick up? I'm not sure how they work it.

I wouldn't even call the last one (heavyweights) a shocker- better than most Friday Fight Nights.

The most recent one, the super bantams, was very good indeed.

The last one was Cruiserweights 2.

There's also been light-welterweights and light-middleweights since Heavyweights 3.

I thought Wale beat Casey in the Semi.

Thats the one I meant- don't know why I said heavyweights- was thinking Herbie Hide etc.

I think Wale won as well tbh.

As for Redemption, I guess you just never know with prizefighter. Could do with being spaced out but then it is giving fighters who otherwise might have fought 6th in a non-televised bill the chance to fight on TV and make a name for themselves. It's a potential dream maker in that respect and I can't knock it for that

I thought Wale won too.. I also think it was one of the better ones.. I still ain't the biggest fan of it BUT I do appreciate that it's getting the average Joe back into the game, Ie pubs etc etc.. I really do feel you gotta be careful though, If Kahut would have boxed Herbie Hide then the matchmaker could have been done for GBH or manslaughter....I swear I ain't joking..

i was at the show supporting a mate of mine ricky owen, how do you think he would of done if the docs left him fight on ?

He was in two tough fights and looked a bit flat out towards the end of the semi. Casey was still relatively fresh going into the final. My prediction would have been the ref jumping in, in either the second or third round to save Owen. How do you think it would have went? The cut didn't look that bad to be honest, definitely not as bad as Wales was going into his semi with Casey.

I saw it potentially going the way you have it as well.

Casey looked quality, and rather fresh, whereas Owen was in two wars.

Owen was hurt by Reid, and you have to say Casey packs a bigger dig than him.

yes, it's great for TV, but I've been wondering about it as a live atttraction.

Seven well-matched contests, yes, but all only three rounds. You typically get about seven fights on a bill, all a minimum of 4 rounds and up to 12 rounds.

Prizefighter = 21 total potential rounds
A typical FFN headlines by a British/Commonwealth title fight, with an undercard of, say 2 x 8-rounders, 2 x 6-rounders and 2 x 4-rounders = 48 potential rounds

Yes but out of a card you only seem to get 2-3 out of 8 competative fights these days - at least with Prizefighter you know that each fight is a tear up.

You dont even get 2-3 with most.In fact,most Friday's,i bet most on here could tell you the winner of every fight on the bill 90% of the time.
