What moments stick out in your mind when someone asks you the starngest or weirdest moment in a brit boxing ring

what comes to my mind is the game of statues Junior witter played against demarcus corley it was very stange - at least to me

yeah that Witter thing with Corley was just ridiculous. But mine has to be Darkie Smith jumping on the ring whe his son fought Hatton and then proceeded to go balistic and assault the referee costing Stephen Smith the fight by DQ and effectively ending his sons promising career

He didn't assault the referee. The DQ came cos he entered the ring.

That was funny. I believe that was Tony Wilson's mom.

Martin Rogan not going after a hurt Sam Sexton stands out for me.

Rogan showed massive inexperience as Sexton was there for the taking.

i dont think it was the weirdest moment....Rogan was just a bit thick and forgot what he was doing. the 'controversy' surrounding it was the weird part.

Hardly his fault, though. He did win the fight on the scorecards, it wasn;t his fault they cocked up the announcment- he was denied his moment of glory, too.

No really, Gomez was not prepared for the fight, even tho he nearly knocked down the dressing room wall to get out into the ring, but once the fight started he just had no idea what he was doing in the ring and decided to quit. Shame because most at the fight wanted to see Gomez more the Bernard Dunne who was the main fight id say.

Another one was Lennox Lewis V Derek Williams, When Lewis knocked him he looked over to his corner as if to say "has the cheque cleared cos im out of here" Was a real farce in my opinion. Derek looked like he just wanted an excuse to leave, and i was ring side looking straight into his face.

Wilson-McCarthy shoe incident.

Paul Wesley taking off his robe to reveal stockings and suspenders before fighting Ian Strudwick.

An enraged fan jumping into the ring to throw punches at the victorious boxer after a controversial decision (I forgot who was involved).

Danny Williams' KO of Mark Potter.

Ring collapsing in a Shea Neary fight.

Hide-Bentt street fight, not so much for the fight itself but for the random middle-aged woman imploring them both to "calm down, lads" in a strong Black Country accent.

Samuels-Renda double knockdown.

Tyson ignoring the ref's attempts to stop the Savarese fight and clubbing him to the floor with a forearm...

... followed by his classic "I want to eat his children" interview.

It has to be Williams v Potter for me, as Oliver has mentioned.
Not necessarily weird, but to see a man fight on with his shoulder dislocated then bang ... knocks his opponent out.
The Abrahams v Rhodes moment was funny rather than weird.
Ojay backing towards the ropes then trying a cute back heel into Brendan's mush ! Thanks for reminding me of that one Stu.
I was also at Steve Smith's fight when Darkie basically ended his lad's career.

A fight between 2 women breaks out at ringside between women, Carey runs over (its between rounds) shouting "thats my mrs" as she's close.
