Big Bob is a true self promoter and a bout against Dunny Bill by the Bobster is as about as possible as NSW Labor Party winning the next NSW State election. Possibly Big Bob is interested knowing that 2 minute rounds are on offer as Bob is now 3 minute challenged.

Boxa and Dunny Bill's manager will ensure a no hoper, of the calibre of Dunny's last opponent: Garry Gurr will be sent into the ring so not dent their man's reputation.

Just checked out his pro debut on youtube and I have to say SBW sucks. Even though Mirovic is shot he would knock out this guy. SBW is no better than novices you will find in the amateurs and the guy he beat was terrible.

Big Bob must have short arms and long pockets as he could have been part of the auction for a fight with Hoppa to benefit a local Rugby League side. The auction expected to raise $1000, only reached around $660, so Hoppa comes cheap to get into the ring with!

But seeing how both went in their respective last fights, not much action would have been on view. A better promotion would be have both facing off in a hot dog eating competition.

The fight with a bouncer was a prelim pro fight. Rugby League footballers who box have a fair history in this country. Herb Narvo was an international front row forward who held the Australian heavyweight title in the 1940s. Solomon Haumona was a good front rower as well. Anthony Mundine played for St George and Brisbane as a five eight (fly half to Rugby Union people). John Hopoate was a winger for several Sydney clubs.

I guess bob just wants to be in the limelight that sonny provides and he knows more people watch sonny bills fights then his own...unless of course bob is fighting a popular name otherwise if bob is fighting gary gurr no one cares as oppose to sonny's fight with him.
