Agreed a decent matchup, Ferguson will be a very good marker for where Larry is currently and whether he does have future british title potential or not.

cue a snooze fest unless larry puts him away. Too many tired fckers in the heavyweight scene over here think it's a picnic. That's why they don't make any ripples.
Bruno was an athlete, he trained like an athlete and pushed and conditioned himself. How many of today's British heavies could you say that about. They don't like throwing punches cos it tires them out..........it's a decent enough match up on paper, but I wouldn't go round the corner to watch it.

Big Larry will flatten Ferguson.. Larry is a seriously powerful guy with improving skills all the time!! I think Ferguson is a scared fighter and Larry will expose that.. well that's my opinion anyway.. Common the warmachiene!!!

I hope Big Larry's fitness has improved. If not, it will be a battle of the unfit. Ferguson has very little stamina at all.

Did you see him fight my pal Paul Morris, Bomber? You were at the show I said hi to you, Fergy looked panicky taking shots from a cruiser weight. He is going to sh1t himself against The War Machine! I used to have a lot of time for Dave but don't care much for him any more (for reasons I wont go into). I'll be routing for Larry

larry has great stength & power & i like how he rolls his sleeves up & waste's no time in getting stuck in.

i agree with machoman on the skill front. he seriously needs to move his head more & keep his chin down while waling in with punches like he has been. if james cook cant get him up to scratch i aint sure many others will.

Ferguson a step up? I disagree, think he is very basic, poor stamina, poor record and as someone states not keen on taking shots.

Ferguson should win this Larry just looks for the bombs you seen what happened when Larry could not put Daniil Peretyatko away who he lost to,who Ferguson beat,thats my opinion.

I don't actually disagree with you - it's just that I don't think he will use his jab and move out of the bombs. In the same way that Ken Norton just seemed to 'freeze' when facing big punches, Ferguson just doesn't seem well equipped to cope with bangers, which is exactly what Larry will bring to the table.
If Ferguson makes it out of the first couple of rounds I see your scenario as being perfectly plausible, but I just don't think he will.
