First of all I would like to apologize to John Murray for accusing him of losing his balls. I have seen you fight John and you showed that you have plenty in the ring. My point was you called Michael out publicly on more than one occasion and claimed Michael has not fought the best in England!

I gave your team an opportunity to make this fight, even though you have nothing we want. Since then i have not heard from your camp with any offer whatsoever. I can only suggest that the next time you issue a challenge and some one says yes, have a plan B. But really I am a little tired of the excuse that we asked for to much money.

The same goes for Amir Khan. I apologize to you about the losing your balls issue but please don't use the 'They want too much money' excuse either. It doesn't cut it as Michael will never need to justify his efforts to try and make the big fights. Just look where he has travelled to do so and not once has he not generated his own income. Once again my apologies.

The Hattons?

WTF would they do for him?

They have never built a fighter in their lives.

Hennessy has no TV if he did the he would be ten times the promoter Hatton could ever be.

The Hattons just recycle old fighters. Scott Quigg is fighting on non-TV shows rather than being exposed as a top prospect to make way for recycled ex-Warren fighters.

What have they done for Alex Arthur?

Hatton Promotions are a fledgling Company.
You can't build a fighter in the manner you describe overnight.
If Hennessey is such a good Promotor, can you please explain why he hasn't nailed a TV deal down ?
Not Murrays problem - definitely Hennessey's.
If he chooses to move on, will you throw your hat in the ring ?

I can't see him going to the Hattons.

Where then, or are you saying he'll see it out with Hennessey ?

No, I think FWP is the only move for him really. Not knocking the other promoters but I think Murray can go to the highest level and like him or not, FW is the best at the highest level.

We were only talking on here the other week about Froch and the mistakes MH made in the super six tournament.

It's just a guess but thats how I see it reading between the lines.

Utter bollocks. It's been done many times before. Many Promoters have built stars with lesser foundations than Quigg or Murray and without TV cash. Jess Harding is one that springs to mind with Spencer Oliver.

It's about grass roots investment and the Hattons don't invest in fighters they follow the Golden Boy criteria of trying to 'nick' the ready made product or the has-been name. You should know that better than anyone.

What they going to do with Anthony Small now?

To be a promoter, you have to invest in a young star, usually at a significant loss for quite some time like Warren did with none other than Hatton himself as well as many others. You have to kiss alot of frogs before you find a prince.

You insult many a Promoter who has stuck his money up early doors. Rhodes was making money early on but the promoter wasn't was he?

I ask again, if Hennessey is 10 times the Promotor Hatton is, why hasn't he nailed a TV deal ?

Do you think Hatton would have got one without the carrott of himself being dangled ala De la Hoya (On a grander scale at HBO) and Naz before him (Remember Prince Promotions?) and Lennox Lewis (Lion).

There is a reason these guys never really retire and start comeback rumours when the TV contracts are ending.

Well that's explained how you think Hatton got his TV deal, now what is your reasoning why Hennessey didn't - he's got a good stable hasn't he ?

He had one remember with ITV who pulled out of boxing - he cant be blamed for that can he?

Anyway, if Hennessy is such a bad Promoter, why did your pal Ryan Rhodes go with him the first time he defected from the only decent Promoter he's ever had?

Was that your advice too?

Answer this - If, as you claim, you know the answers to everything and are such an expert, why don't you become a promoter and clean up?

He's asking fairly reasonable questions.I would be interested to know what 26 thinkss of the overall job FW/SN did with Rodes. He did earn very well at a young age,and had some great opportunities in his home town area.

Hatton Promotions will be MUCH bigger than Hennessy in 1-2 years, he is already getting to a similar level already, take away Froch from Hennessy and who has he really got that Hatton hasn't in terms of levels of fighters?

BC,
I repeat again, because clearly it's not sinking in your thick skull, I do not know everything, and certainly have nowhere near the level of insight that you have.
I don't get your point about Hennessey.
Yes the pulling out of ITV was not of his making. However what stopped him getting a deal elsewhere ?
Did the demise of Setanta stop your boss getting a deal elsewhere ? No it didn't.
As for getting involved in Promotion - no thanks.
I love sharks but it doesn't mean I would like to swim with them.
I'll stick to Dolphins.

BC,
On the issue of Rhodes, you seem to have a short memory.
I don't have such a short memory, but if you think I'm going to fall for your old tricks and have a public slanging match then you are mistaken.

Mickey,
In the early years Wazza did a fantastic job with Rhodes.
In the middle years he did nothing for him until the Lockett fight, in July 2006.
Since then Rhodes has fought 9 times.
None of the 9 were promoted by Wazza.

Wazza is his co-manager not his Promoter.

A Co Manager who is also a Promotor and didn't put his fighter on a bill for 4 years.
His other Co Manager was Dave Coldwell.
He put him on 3 shows since the Lockett fight.

Ok to summarise;

Brandon Smith is a pudendum
Hennesey needs to improve as a promoter.
allegedly did a great job with Ryan Rhodes early in his career.
Ryan Rhodes is now arguably in the best form of his career having seemingly being written off after the Blundell loss.
And i'm still really in the dark as to who 26 and Boxing Chat are.......

Please can someone PM me, thanks.

The reason MH hasn't got a TV deal, I imagine, is because as BC said, he was with ITV, which stopped televising boxing. Obviously that puts him at the back of the line at Sky, which already had existing TV contracts with promoters it had used on a long term basis. Sky is the only boxing outlet in Britain at the moment and MH has only worked with BBC and ITV until relatively recently. There are only a certain amount of dates available per year, as you know. A big bunch has gone to Prizefighter, the Hattons have got a good few, and MH is left scrabbling around like anyone else, even FW at the moment — yet both MH and FW have stronger stables than the Hattons and Barry Hearn. Prizefighter seems to be popular, so I can understand why Sky might possibly believe Hearn currently has more to offer than MH or FW. But how Sky can believe that the Hattons have is beyond me, you'd have to ask Sky.
