The Super Flyweights in Britain aren't much better than the Super Flyweights in Antarctica.

The Super Flyweights in Britain aren't much better than the Super Flyweights in Antarctica.

He's asking for super featherweights (junior lightweights) not super fly's, but even at this weight there aren't too many good fighters in Britain. Alex Arthur was Britain's best boxer at the weight in the last few years, but the last I heard from him he was making a gangster movie in Scotland. Ricky Burns is also a decent boxer, but no spring chicken at 27 years old. I'm not aware of any others to write home about, but I'm sure some of the others could fill you in.

Michael Brodie is 36 and clearly on the decline.
Scott Lawton is on the decline too.
After that there is no much more to look at.

Burns did lose a decision to Alex Arthur, but I have to agree with most of what you said.

Carl Johannesson,Alex Arthur and Graham Earl(when he was champion) are not bad.He wasnt disgraced against any of them,either.

Gary Sykes, Ricky Burns, Anthony Crolla are all decent fighters, the Super-Featherweight division is fairly strong at the moment

went the distance with johannesson and arthur. defeated earl when he was reigning british lightweight champion.

would call this my top 10 in Britain at the weight. Think Liam Walsh will come through as the standout here though. He is impressive.

The SF division is one of the most exciting there is. All the top ten are contenders for the British title and that can't be said in many other divisions.

would like to see Foster Jr v Morris, or either of them v Crolla, all would be good local dust ups

Kevin Mitchell is the best Super Featherweight in Britain today. He certainly isn`t a full blown lightweight in my book. Needs to move back down and dominate there for a while.

Listening to Buncey's podcast, he needs to get back in the gym a bit sharpish. Getting down to Super Feather was killing him though.

kevin will never make SFW ever again imo,listen kevin got beat fair and square by kasitas, kevin was boxing well and got caught with a very good shot it happens it doesn't make you a bad fighter overnight,kevin will bounce back im sure.

the uk's No1 sfw is Ricky Burns by some way at present and he will win the world title when he fights for it.

i like the look of crolla and reckon he can definitely do something. he has had a more polished and accurate look about him in the last few fights.
