Faces Nadjib Mohammedi the EU champion, Very loose limbed and has some skills but suffered an embarrasing first round ko against Thierry Karl less than a year ago, which is available on youtube, reminiscent of Judah's dance although not quite as pronounced.
Seems very hard to keep original opponents these days

Rising Welshman Nathan Cleverly defends his European light-heavyweight title against French hope Nadjib Mohammedi next month (July 10).
Unbeaten Cleverly won the big belt with a five-round stoppage of Italy's experienced Antonio Brancalion earlier this year at Wembley and is highly ranked by all the world governing bodies. He looks likely to challenge for a world title in the very near future, even though he is still only 23 and may fill out. Cleverly is big, strong and punishing. He has stopped his last six opponents.
Mohammedi comes over with a fine 22-1 (11) record. His only defeat came shockingly last year in the first round and can be viewed as one of those freak results, shades of Alexis Arguello's debut. Mohammedi has won three in a row since, holds the second-tier EU light-heavyweight title and previously held the French. He is capable and ambitious but makes his first trip outside France and it ranks as no holiday.
Cleverly looks likely to wear down the challenger on the way to a late stoppage.

Q1. Would Cleverly be available and willing to give Calzaghe sparring if he does decide to re-match Hopkins?
Q2. Is talk of fighting Tony Bellew helping your exposure more than his?

bellew hasn't beat anybody of note to deserve a shot at clev, needs to clean up domesticlly then he deserves it.

Totally agree
But the lt-heavy division has never been the most glamourous.. so if both guys can build some sort of rivalry, there can atleast be a chance of some interest to hopefully get both guys a good pay day
I get the feeling that Tony Bellew - because of his age - is going to get fast tracked and given the riskier assignments.
Cleverly seems the one who will be groomed and given the better oppurtunities to fully develop because of his more media friendly personality.

It'd be an honour to own that belt BUT whatever my team chooses to do I'll respect.. I don't think I'll have any viable challengers to be honest after I win it..
