Any good?
Will he hold the belt for long?

I am glad you make the point about Matt Skelton doing well. He did very well considering he didnt posess great skills and came into boxing late with no amateur background. Chisora may just equal Skeltons achievments but I really cant see him going any further. The Danny Williams victory was was no achievment at all. I think any decent British HW could have beaten Danny to get that belt. I would like to see Chisora defend that belt a few times to show us he really does deserve to be British champion.Bomber 1 wrote:He will do well to get as far as Skelton did by winning the Euro and getting a WBA title shot too..
He has the skills but I just always feel that size plays a huge part in the heavyweight division these days unless your blessed with a huge punch like David Haye then it's kind of an equaliser but the bad thing is we know Del Boy doesn't have that huge shot which is a shame cos like I have said he does have good skills and fast hands for a heavyweight..

I think you definitly need power to to the top especially in the heavyweight division, I get your point though mate, 17st on the chin does hurt.. I've been nailed off big Pricey a few times..1southpaw wrote:WildWaylon wrote:I am glad you make the point about Matt Skelton doing well. Bomber i know what you mean about not having massive power in the heavyweight division but i know from experiance that you get 17st on the chin it can be lights out ?? i like chisora he is a honist pro and i can see him winning a commonwealth title and may get a payday against a proper world champion .

hes a character as well, which helps.
Chisora v Sexton 2 is a must
Ruiz, Chagaev, Rahman, Ibragimov, Toney, Haye and Peter are of similar size to Brewster and Chisora, and they managed to have some success at heavyweight. I agree with the rest of your post though, European level is where Chisora will max out. If he fights a world class heavyweight he will lose, unless the division gets even worse then it is now.funso banjo baby wrote:the only small heavyweight to make a dent was Lamon Brewster (similar size to chisora) but he combined stamina, a rock solid chin and Ko Power (at his peak)...Del Boy is nowhere near that class but can def muck around at euro level.
