Finnegan a better boxer, but Roldan too strong. IMO, Roldan is behind on points but his big right hand keeps hurting Finnegan, and Roldan finally traps him on the ropes and KOs him around the 8th

The key to Finnegan's success was his ability to handle southpaws after he grew up sparring his brother Chris. He was robbed in one of his three classics with Minter, gave Hagler hell in their first fight and beat Frankie "The animal" Lucas.
Roldan would probably have cut Kevin and stopped him that way.

Another intriguing battle.

I do think Roldan's power is very slightly overrated on the basis of the so called Hagler knockdown. Of course Finnigan's skin would be a very possible handicap against such a mauling brawling guy like Roldan but I think he would be able to box his way to a points win.

Finnegan did outbox over 15 a guy who at least in stature, record and style if not power/brute strength was similar to Roldan in Tony Sibson
