Who in your opinion is the best ring announcer in the world? Clearly it has to be a choice between Michael Buffer and Jimmy Lennon Jnr. I love both but for me it has to be Buffer. The smooth voice and "let's get ready to rumble" at the MGM Grand in Vegas on fight night has to be one of the best moments in sport...

Lennon for me.

I associate Buffer with the screamy screechy HBO style of Jim Lampley.

Handsdown its Mr buffer, jimmy use's too much bell work to intro fighters,ask any timekeeper!

Both great, and its good that the two are still going strong - brings a real sense of excitement to any fight.

Love how buffer really gets into the spanish too!

Buffer's got the rumble, but I like Lennon Jnr.

Buffer is a legend and for me is a must for the really big fights. Hearing his trademark speech in the flseh gave me goose pimples.

I love Buffer, number one by a long way for me.

The "classy" Jimmy Lennon Jnr for me. I love his use of the bell.

Lupe Contreas is a good one also, he'd be my third.

Buffer doesn't seem to put as much into his 'lets get ready to ruuuuuumbleeeee' as he used too.

Lennon Jr, he doesn't think he's as important as the boxers, or more important, unlike Buffer.

its a toss up whos the worst him or burdis

Burdis beats Logan, but only just.

Quite like the Prizefighter announcer and they way he speeds up his speach when describing the colour of the boxers shorts and which corner they are in. Also never wears a dickie bow, just to emphasize that prizefighter is a casual sort of night.

Between the big boys I would have to go for Buffer. His voice is a class act "Two twenty and a one half pound"

i was at a show an the prizefighter mc was doing a crossword in between fights, so i dont think hes the biggest fight fan

Prefer Lennon myself. I don't like over-dramatization which Buffer can be guilty of. Still gotta love the guy, suave and tanned
