So they get criticised for deleting stuff and now you want them to? Blimey, make your mind up

Poncey is right there shouldnt be loads of threads on the exact same topic.

Leave this one open and hopefully there will be some sort of clarification.

My thread, as well as Marting's, have been locked. I just don't understand the big problem with this topic is? Who is responsible fo the moderating on BoxRec? Who decides what is OK and what isn't on this forum? Who can we contact to complain about topics and comments that WE feel are derogatory?

This is all very surreal. The question has been asked so why aren't Boxrec answering it?

Can Boxrec remain impartial if John Sheppard is working for Hatton and won't say who owns and finances the site?

This forum discusses a broad spectrum of subjects rrelating to peoples livlihoods, businesses and careers and if it is being censored to the detriment of people and to protect others then this needs to be addressed.

A forum that is selectively censored when fair comment is made cannot have any integrity or
credability.

Sorry...a little bit of sick just came up then...do excuse me.

This from an employee of the man who's regular visits to the courts result in the very mention of his name being changed to 'Allegedly'.

MachoMan09 wrote:boxingchat, nobody said this forum has to be impartial. There are millions of online forums that have an editorial agenda and I have no problem with that.

I do, though, like to know who the owner and editor of any site or publication I read is. My decision on whether or not I will visit/read a particular media outlet and how I use and assess the information it publishes does depend on it.

Fair point my friend. My point was that if censorship was being practiced to give a false reflection of the truth or to aid a commercial entity then that is a concern.

Forums have a place if everyone is open.

Ian is correct. There are no "smoke and mirrors" to this claim. I hope the people that know me will know that I don't bullshit. I'm always black and white. If I say something, it's because I believe it to be true.

For this reason, and my concern that the topic could create a big headache for the forum, I'm locking the thread. It's already created a conspiracy that simply isn't there (no it wasn't the action of the moderator that deleted the topic, it was the topic's creation in the first place that created it!).

I have already asked for threads to not be created. This threat was ignored. I will be forced to begin action against the originator of next one created and the forum rules will not be followed. You will be temporarily banned. It's that simple.

I'm also aware that there are several posters on here from an Employer who are trying to create an issue that simply doesn't exist. The same process that I have stated above will apply to you.

If people have an issue with it, please PM me, Law or John.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
