Team McDermott is loving this. Fury sounds like a man who believes in his own press.

Fury is a nice kid. He has a lot of pressure in his shoulders. I like him, and he comes across well. Its interesting that he is back with Fury. Presumably his training will be completely fucked up and un-periodized due to this change? Mcdermot has a real chance here to score the biggest win of his career. If Fury hasn't prepared correctly he'll be dangerous for one or two rounds then begin to gas. If that happens look for the first fight to happen again, or a late mcdermot stoppage. I'm going for the upset here. Mcdermot W10 or late stoppage 8-10.

To be fair I hear Hughes was never there and Pat Barrett is away on business?? Therefore he has no one training him does he??
I think the guy should just settle down with a trainer! He does have the tools to do something!!

Hi Macho,
I haven’t yet but I will give Brian a call to get his take. I wasn’t expecting to gain access to Tyson but Hennessy Sports have been very accommodating on this occasion. Previously, I’ve been reliant on Hughes for insight into Tyson’s progress since they started working together.
It sounds like Fury and Hughes have parted amicably. I spoke to Brian about a month ago and he spoke well of Tyson, both in terms of his skills and the lad’s personality. They spent a week together in Germany and said that Fury handled himself very well in sparring a few Eastern Europeans.
Away from the ring Hughes said that Tyson was a down-to-earth kid, a far cry from the bravado he’d read and seen from him previously. Apparently Fury carries a bible around with him and reads daily extracts out of it.
I was expecting Fury to be lippy today but he was the opposite. I don’t know whether that’s because a) that’s actually how he really is, b) he’s become a little more conservative after the first McDermott fight or c) his preparation for the rematch hasn’t totally gone to plan.
Today was the first time I’d spoken to Fury so it’s hard for me to say. If pushed I’d suggest it’s probably a combination of all three.

Always worry when a Boxer, especially a young Boxer switches trainers so often.
I remember Kevin Mitchell doing it.
Get the sense that they are looking to blame someone else rather than themselves as to why things might not be going as well as they should be in training.

Sparred with him mate but we were different divisions and to be fair he was just coming into the international setup...He used to send me nuts with his chat years ago BUT I must be honest some of his talk has me in hysterics..
What he said to Amir on Twitter had me crying laughing, Amir asked "What do you think of the Shane Mosley Vs Mayweather fight??"
To which Tyson Fury replied " What I think is that they are considerably better than you sonny"
I still cry laughing now at the sheer audacity of him..

He also had a pop at Andre Dirrell too...

I remember that war of words with Dirrell, I bet Froch put him up to it
Have to worry about Fury's chances here because of what's happened with Hughes and you get the feeling that he's had no quality sparring which is going to be completley different to Big John who has probably been with warmachine and Dallas coz they are M,aloney fighters.

Far from free money but it is worth a small play @ 9/4
On the other hand Molitor at 5/2 to stop Booth is.

If he pulls out because he couldn't get himself in shape then he is a disgrace imo.
Nice guy or not, he is letting down McDermott, Maloney and every single person that has brought a ticket. Far too late notice for all this crap
