Fowler was a crazy omission.
Think he is still committed to making the Olympics?

I dont know how the system works in England but wouldnt that make him favourite for the slot. I understand on both sides of the water that the ams can be a politics ridden midden as well but I think he is young and would have thought that Burton needs to just ride with it and decide when the selection for the Olympics come up. A fighter for GB could step himself up for life with a good performance in London.

Politics will always take first hand in amateur boxing... That is just a sad fact.. :(
A box off should happen at the end of every year or like the Irish do, Go in the championships and the winner represents there country!! Irish are streets ahead of us when you compare the size of there pool to ours... They win something at every major tournament and are always in the medals when at multi's as I remember, They must only have half our population and a 1/10 of our gyms too.. Some feat..
