Chavez by close UD. Too big for Sanchez

Sal by comfortable, but brutal decision. 8-4ish, Chavez hadn't reached his peak at 130. He was merely good there. While I understand Sanchez never fought at 130, I'd take him weighing 126.

I think Sanchez would have been a nightmare for Chavez. I pick Sanchez to win a clear decision here.

i am a fan of sanchez and his cool counterpunching but we never saw him box at 130lbs. we saw how a jump in weight affected zarate v gomez; how the jump affected gomez v sanchez. chavez had similar stamina and chin as sanchez and was an pressure fighting artist. sanchez had plenty of trouble (and won by pretty close decision) with a few minor contenders. i think that over 12 rounds or 15; chavez would get the win; probably on points.

Chavez had tons of problems with Laporte and Sanchez was miles ahead of Laporte. At 130 I pick Sanchez to win a clear decision.
