Is it just me, or does anyone else think the best way to stop Andre Ward from "doing his thing" inside is, when he lowers his head & begins to bring his forehead up at your eyebrows, lean back & let him have a full-blooded left elbow to the face?

Sort of like Wilfredo Gomez would have. If someone had provided Gomez with a stool, so that he could stand on it & thus reach Ward's face to elbow him in.

Yep, or when he clinches throw a cheeky knee into his ribs
