I have just read that Danny passed away in February of this year. He had a record of 67 fights with 48 wins,12 losses and 8 draws.
He fought Sammy Angott, Rocky Graziano, Beau Jack, and Johnny Bratton.
After his boxing career finished, he became very active with Ring 8(New York) Ex-boxers association.
I wrote to him on a couple of occasions in the 1980's and found him to be a complete gentleman.
