Firstly, i think we all agree he needs to settle down with a pro trainer. What about joe gallagher? He could use Kerry Kayes help as well.
I wouldnt let him fight for the british yet, have a couple more at domestic and maybe another euro import. He needs rounds badly.

I think thats the difficult part for Tyson, he changes his trainer at such a rate that he cannot possibly be moving forward. I agree Joe would be brilliant, but he said that Brian Hughes didnt spend enough time with him so I cannot possibly see how Jow would as he has a thriving gym. He says by his own admission that he can get lazy so surely he would need a trainer that pushes him day in day out & he HAS to stick with that trainer.

Paolo Vidoz.
Got a European top 20 ranking. Likely to extend him but on recent form unlikely to beat him. Good name on the record.

Rogan is fighting Coleman for the Irish title - Fury should fight the winner. Obviously needs to keep busy aswell, get in decent shape, he is still only conditioned for 6 rounds by the looks of it.

He needs top class professional work on his stamina and conditioning, take a few sub-british level fights to keep him active. Like Swaby or Ferguson then Rogan would be a great test, maybe even for the Irish. IF he comes through those, then start looking at the British title and the likes of Sexton and Chisora etc.

Possibly. If true,i would imagine the bad feeling stems from Mick's handling of John Murray. Its probably why Mick Marsden is Murray's manager.

Tyson needs to grow up a bit I think (and i don't mean that in a negative way).
He seems to have a very young mind for his actual age. He's got a big heart and a close knit family around him - but i think he needs a bit of boot camp style isolation, maybe stateside, to get in some quality runs and sparring.. and just generally soak up what is needed to press on from his current level / position.
Tyson seems to levitate back home at any opportunity at present. He was coming to Nottingham for McCracken at one point, then went to Hughes and now back home again all in the space of a year.

It will be difficult for Fury to relocate or committ to any trainer outside of his family. Its all he knows and could hold him back. They seem slightly "behind" in training methods and nutrition. He listed his typical breakfast in the BN 60 second interview as a Full English!

i say feed him to the 'Warmachine' Larry Olubamiwo... The big man had a slip up against Daniil Peretyatko but showed in his last few fights that he can delever when his mind is set onj the job in hand.. I dont think this fight will happen but would love to see it...

He's just had a very hard nine round fight and done his hand in, so when he's rested and healed I think he should get another 3/4/5 fights (maybe one of them could be a defence of the English title) and then Hennessy can press his claim for a British title challenge, which must be pretty strong as English champion and winning an eliminator.

With Chisora fighting Sexton (uniting Brit and C'Wealth) one of them (or Fury) might end up facing Harrison for the European - all 3 on the line what a night that would be.

I see the point being made here but building stamina isn't rocket science. I reckon the issue is more to do with commitment

Absolutely agree. Fury needs to take himself out of the comfort zone and start stepping up in terms of the preparation, a US trainer would be a top option.
I am still quite alarmed at his weight, he really should not be coming into a professional contest at the age of 21 looking the way he did. He needs 24 hr focus on roadwork and quality sparring if he is to go to the next level as a professional.

Ah, but this is BoxRec, where the exception proves the rule if you're a cynic (prime example, David Haye is boring "runner" based on the Valuev fight).

Yeah, that's why he won in nine rounds in his last fight.

I would be worried about his hand. He's only 21 but has hurt his hand in his last two or three fights. When he's healed and he fights again. What's going to happen if he injures his hand yet again?
