Quick fix for this is for Mundine to fight anybody ranked above him (margarito) or Martirosyan........that would put an end to Mundines campaign as a light Middleweight for good. And if he fought Cotto, well that may end his career !!!

They agreed to meet @ light middle, but if Mundine doesn't make it.......stiff.
It's not a title fight, so anything goes. There wouldn't be any penalty clauses in agreement, which would only be verbal.

to pass a medical for a mundine card u only need a faint pulse and your fine. muscle tears, broken bones, walking sticks and wheelchairs r acceptable. so a beer belly and a hangover should be ok.

I wouldn't waste energy worrying about where Mundine is ranked with the majors. He clearly has no intention of fighting for a serious title again.
