Kelvin Hall, Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom 4th September Ricky Burns finally gets his shot at Roman Martinez for his WBO Super Featherweight title... As you will all know Greenocks John Simpson will defend his Commenwealth Featherweight Title against Liverpools Stephen Smith, which has the potential to be a brilliant fight... As far as the reat of the undercard goes does anyone know who else is going to be on it.. Heard rumours Paul Appleby is going to be on the bill at Super Featherweight?

Good stuff, we might get to see him fight for a title soon afterall... If the winner of the Wright v Harrison gets a cut they wont be able to fight in 10 weeks i dont think, so i don t think it will be the English Title he goes for. Might be the IBF International light welterweight title, the same sort of thing DeGale beat Sam Horton for at Super Middleweight

Burns is 11/4 to win on SKY bet.

I would have had a decent bet at 11/1 but 11/4 isn't tempting enough as I think Martinez will stop him late on.

You're right, it says 11/1 on SKY sports website but if you click through to SKY bet then its 11/4.

the 11/1 will be for a stoppage, 11/4 to win the fight is excellent value imo.

I have my betting funds tied up in a Chelsea/Man United double at the moment but when (hopefully) United beat Newcastle tonight I'm gonna be putting a load on Martinez ko. Another value bet is the Molitor ko over Booth. Think the odds are similar.

The Martinez price is now into 15/8, I got 100/30 on the Molitor stoppage win a couple of months back which is still available with Stan James.
