Whats going on? Why has everyone either left or been banned? Why does it seem like http://www.hennessysports.com?

Are any of you going to go back on there?

BoxRec will never be a 'Let's plug Hennessy Boxing' forum like Eastside. John Shepherd is a leading promoter and a moderator here, but you don't see him coming on and trying to take over. People post here because they want to plug British boxing. Not Hennessy boxing.

I can understand Spud hyping his boyfriends but what I find incredible is the fact that idiots like Gav and Get in the ring(if thats his name) join in. The average IQ on that forum must be pretty low

Had my first dealing with John about making the rankings a sticky - fair do's done with no questions ask.

I do like the way things are run/moderated here and I have appreciated the welcome I got.

I suppose that why I've made close to 500 posts, when I did say I was going to make two/three max when this place first started

Each to his own I suppose.

Anybody who remembers "britishboxing.com" will know that Spud was exactly the same then.

Except all we got then was Maloney Baloney (he was employed as Maloney's nutlicker or something equally menial). Then they had a falling out and suddenly Spud was like the dumped girlfriend with nothing good to say about him. He used to gush over Maloney the same way he does over Hennessey now, no impartiality whatsoever.

But he was only a normal member on BB.com. He was a right creep though, always sucking up to the Admin. He was also a bit of a shit for starting arguments, then when he got smacked down by the other posters would run crying to the Admins.

He is the wrong choice to moderate a forum and judging by the number of defections I'm not alone in my thinking.

Idiot am I? Just because i agree that your comments on Arthur which got you banned in the first place were a bit shocking?

I was not agreeing with Spud, i was agreeing with the principle that had you banned, thats all.

Well, I was banned by ESB (unrelated to the British Forum, it was apparently for referring to some Universum-Promotions garbage as "propaganda'), so those wankers can kiss my fuzzy whitish-pink rump.

ESB is getting thousands of hits each day.

You look at British Eastside or the British Forum and look into your allegation and it is completely unfounded, concerning Hennessy Sports ... Am I pro Hennessy?? ... of course I am but please visit the site or the forum and you really have not got a leg to stand on!! name all of the Hennessy type threads compared to the rest ...

As for Loftgroov being banned .... you are welcome to him, I am sure he will bring this forum so much.

You have a good set of posters here but yet you persist in slagging off Eastside ... have you lot ever heard of ... any publicity is good publicity ???

In addition your constant slaggings of me have also given me the chance to do a lot more than what I ever thought I would achieve ... so for that ... THANK YOU!!!

Like I say there are a number of you who are a bloody good bunch and hindsight is a wonderful thing ... only if?? ...

We all have to move on so finally ... thank you for giving ESB some free publicity ... but why oh why don't you all concentrate on making this place a better place??

This Spud guy seems like a bit of a tit. Is he someone big in the Hennessy camp, is he a matchmaker?? He seems to really be in the know, be careful people, he may sue you for defemation of character if he is as important as he seems

Spud or "Jubbly" - Being banned from Eastside is of no consequence to me. It's not somewhere I care to go anyway.

I notice there is a thread calling for you to be banned from here. Time to jump down from your high horse perhaps?

Most people I have spoken to about me being banned from Eastside has said it's solely due to my comments about Eastman, and the comments about Arthur were merely the excuse you were looking for. Plenty people said they didn't agree with my Arthur thread (which was fine) but they admitted it was hardly worth a "banning".

I create and contribute to a large number of posts on the boxrec forum here (none of which have been classifid as "horiffic") and find the debates far more interesting. Just sick to ESB and your Hennessy bandwagon mates, and leave the rest of us be....

I was recently speaking to one of the most respected members of this forum who told me that this has been written because you have taken acception to me writing for ESB, is this True? If so why?

I am writing for ESB to gain the experience i will need to hopefully be able to become a serious boxing journalist at some stage. Surely i'm not grudged that?

GAV - I don't want to get involved on this forum, but I have little sympathy for people who grass up others and Pm moderators to get people banned.

Ok Loftgroov/sweetpea whoever you are today. I did not PM a moderator to get you banned. All objections i had were printed in the thread. There was no behind close doors "Ban this guy" I said your post was out of order in the thread and that was as far as i took.

Thank you for your encouragement it is appreciated, however disparaging remarks don't come from who i write for they come from how and what i write. So far comments have been very positive.

I appreciate the kind words (in the rest of your post - hopefully I'm one of the good bunch). However, I do think the above statement was a little bit harsh and frankly a tad offensive.

Persist??? Apart from Yesterday when was the last time your place was mentioned over here. Only right at the very begining.

Your bound to get the odd "Newbie" (no disrespect intended) who may have read some of the earlier threads and continued the spat. However, the way that is worded its sounds like the regular British scene posters (and I included myself in that bracket) have continued the downgrading your site.

As you said, were moving away from the "ESB rejects" labelling and concentrating on this forum, and as you suggested - were a good bunch and are doing a good job. For a forum thats been going a little over a month, we've gone from being labelled the graveyard forum (over on the boxrec Current scene) to being fairly respected gaining more and more readers every day.

I wish ESB all the success in the world, you have got some innovative ideas and are doing well. However, please refrain from comments like that above - which are simply lies.
