Scott Quigg is back in action on Friday against Gavin Read in a British title eliminator at Bolton. His last fight v Andrei Kostin was a pay-per-view event on Hatton TV but we are pleased to announce that the whole show from Bury is now available free of charge to anyone who registers.

Hot super-bantamweight prospect Scott Quigg takes on tough and gutsy Gavin Reid in a British title eliminator on Friday in Bolton, scheduled for 10 rounds.
The unbeaten Quigg is a former kickboxer who has raced to 18-0 in the conventional ranks and hits hard, having stopped eight of his last 10 opponents, five in the first round. Those opponents include former European title challenger Yuri Voronin of the Ukraine, stopped in six rounds, and Russian veteran Andrey Kostin, who lasted all of two minutes. Quigg has almost run out of domestic opposition so full credit to Reid for getting in there with the Bury banger, who remarkably is still only 21.
Reid, 10 years older, is one of those 'nearly' fighters who concedes every time he steps up but not without one helluva struggle as he showed when he dropped a tight verdict to Welsh dangerman Ricky Owen in Prizefighter recently, dropping the Welsh southpaw in the second round, and when he took former Canadian amateur star Andrew Singh Kooner eight bruising rounds in 2008 before copping a big right hand and a brutal knockout defeat, one of the knockouts of the year.
It remains the only time Reid has been stopped but Quigg has to be fancied to stop him again, although it will probably come late.
