british - right now it's gotta be haye or froch imo.

global - i'd say probably PBF.....

If you mean best records by whom they have fough and beat

id say Pacquio and Mayweather have some great names on there records

Pacquio has beat some great fighters over the years going trhough the weights
Guys who still had lots to offer at the time , Barrera Marquez Morales hatton

Mayweather has , Corrales , Castillo , Judah , delahoya hatton

British i would say Froch or haye if hatton not included
but there arent many British fighters around that have more than one or 2 big names on there records before the Retire due to the Padding of records that seems to go on.
