Why leave a bloke to suffer when you can put him out of his misery early?

i love to fight and im pretty sure that if you knock the other guy out taking minimal punishment

I'd rather knock a bloke out in the first and be sitting down having a beer earlier than having to fight a 12 round war, copping all the punches and all the physical exertion....you'd be silly.

I dont think the gripes are from fans who see a first round ko...I was at the Jones fight and DG legitimately hurt RJJ with a big punch. The recent criticisms are of first round ko's when maybe the first round should never had started !!
I am more than happy to see a legit 1st rnd ko.....a legit one !!!

a legit 1st round ko is all anybody in the ring could hope for.

i just get the shits with people who write poxy articles about these fights who have no interest in the sport otherwise and get the public going about the issue
and all these dicks who say im never going to watch boxing again and pay $50 for a fight boo whoo

^^dont think dicks is appropriate mate. Juust disappointment combined with pre fight optimisim(which may be naive). Both Mundane and Grey have finally torched optimism with a blowtorch.
still- green undercard sounded ok. so to say 50 wasted insults those on the card. realise people pay mainly for the big fight but...
anyway- mundane/waters will NOT get any of money directly or indirectly like all of his fights of late(taylor excluded-that was just morbid curiosity and the Geale bash).
as for Grey-like The Specials once sang-"its up to you" Mr Grey

Come on, Patron. You would remember Luis Rodriguez cleaning Tony Mundine up in half a round. Was there anything fishy about that?

i actually saw that fight brute, and the punch that put tony away would have stopped a train, there have been a lot of one round ko,s, but not all of them had that bad smell about them, like the death of boxing, until we get a national control board and ban fighters promoting their own show we will cop this garbage, would you match up with someone who had a chance of upsetting you?all the best

Wake up Brute, i'm a big Briggs fan, he has fought the better opponents than Green, in their prime. Green is a good fighter worthy of a world title, but he hasn't fought the quality of opponents of Briggs whilst in their prime, Briggs is not shot, he took an easy pay day (bookies included) and made a mockery of Green and the boxing community.
I don't believe Briggs, who has fought some of the biggest names in both boxing and kickboxing in their primes, genuinely fell over from getting his hair ruffled.
I have heard from a reasonably strong source that he took a dive, one can only surmise the reasons and instigators, but I believe that this isn't the first time.
I do not want my money back by the way, I can only nod my head to some one who pulled that off.

The Telegraph has a "political expert" who did not finish high school. What do you want from that rag?
