Green would be less comfortable at Light Heavy, and a little weakened. Geale wouldn't even walk around at 175lb and doesn't have great power for a middleweight as it is, and has been knocked down by far softer hitters. Green by early KO, though Geale could win a couple of rounds before being put to sleep.

Neither is a light heavyweight so what is the point? Geale is an average height super middleweight and Green looks like his walking around weight would be about 100 kgs.

Er, no. I've met Green in person, he is a big guy, about 6'0 to 6'1 and very big boned, heavily built. However, he has written before that when at Light Heavyweight, he walked around at about 86kg, having to lose 7kg to make weight. He has also said that he is nowhere near a natural heavyweight. I think he probably walks around in the high 80s, as he doesn't fatten up between fights. No way is he losing 16kg for his fights now, especially when the real limit is 91kg anyway.

Boxers lift weights these days, as do rugby league players. Green looks as big as Jarryd Hayne and Hayne plays at 97 kgs.


Geale is 178cm, which is about average height for an Australian man in his 20s. He would have to concede 7cm in height.

Id say he walks around at high 80's. I doubt very much he has weighed 100 even when he was retired.

Big fan of both of em. Geale is the slicker boxer of the two, but Green would cut the ring off and catch him and stop him. Green By TKO.

Green is a good puncher but still gets beaten by any good boxer within 10 years of their prime, geale included by ud or dq depending on where the fight is

Green at his peak would have given a lot of LHW a run for their money. Green at his peak was several years in the past though and just like Mundine he wasted his best years in Australia. Green and Mundine should have followed the example of Tszyu and gone to the states and fought the best.

EDIT: Even Robbie Peden is a better example. While not a household name he stil put his ass on the line WAAAAY more then Mundine or Green ever have.

Griffin had never been KOed before he fought Green, nobody else stopped Roy Jones in the first round, Hopkins could not KO Roy in the next fight. Drewes had lost only one fight before fighting Green (good judges were surprised Green beat him). Wake up to yourself.

Green has challenged the best Yanks and they do not want to know about him.
