I'm not sure i like Alexander's chances of stopping Kotelnik, othewise they all sound like good bets.

Glen Johnson is a risky one. I think age might catch up with the old war horse. Tarvouris Cloud is no joke. Also, despite stopping the iron-chinned Urango, I still think there is a good chance Kotelnik could last the distance. I mean the uppercut that got Urango going was a beauty but it was more the timiing more than anything. Before that punch landed, there was no indication that Alexander had the power to hurt Urango.

Pretty much agree with the rest though. :TU:

I don't like the Devon Alexander bet, because of the way Kotelnik fights it's damned difficult to stop him. Not seen enough of Tarvoris Cloud to comment on that fight.

Agree with all of that apart from I see Cloud beating Johnson by points or even late stoppage.

I know the Johnson one is risky but after watching Cloud against Woods he didn't impress me that much. I just have a feeling Johnson's relentless work rate could be the difference in this one.

Another early price I like the look of is Pacquiao to beat Margarito on points @ 3/1 but I'll wait and see if any catchweight is put in place first.

Yep, I don't think it's a mad call at all, I'm just basing mine on the belief that Johnson's close to or past his 'tipping point' in terms of father time catching up with him, and Cloud's style being exactly the type to exploit that.
As for Pacman Margarito (it's a disgrace if Margarito's allowed that fight by the way), depending on whether it's catchweight or not I fancy the Pacman by late stoppage - think he'll be too fast and accurate for an over-the-hill Margarito to deal with... Shane laid down the blueprint on that.

I think Alexander Frenkel looks a big price at 6/5 to beat Enzo Maccarinelli. As much as I hate to say it I think Enzos last victory has just masked over severe cracks which will be re-exposed against Frenkel.

Other value bets to me are:

Stephen Smith to beat John Simpson at 11/8
Barker to beat Macklin at 13/10
Molitor to stop Booth at 7/4
Dirrell to beat Ward at 11/4 (I really don't think Ward is that much better a fighter).

Steve, you can get 3/1 on the Molitor stoppage win, I think it was at skybet.

Cheers Hagler2002!! 3-1 is a huge price as as much as I respect Booth for coming back from the ravages of alcoholism I think he's out of his league in this one.

Barker is made for Macklin, I'm convinced this won't even be close.

I've also just backed Dimitry Pirog to beat Jacobs at 13/10 with Boylesports. This is a genuine pick em fight and I think Pirog has been in with much better opposition than Jacobs including guys like Sergei Tatevoysan and I feel his intensity will wear Jacobs down as long as he can survive the first few rounds.

Barker/Macklin is as about as 50/50 as you will ever get in a British ring. I saw, I think on Bet365, that both fighters were 5/6 to win, and apart from Haye/Mormeck, I have never seen that before. It's a fight I wouldn't bet on, as it's just like gambling on the toss of a coin, IMO.

Even so, my Barker bias tell me KO5.

:P

And Alexander to stop the unstoppable? Good luck on that, mate. You'll need it.
