Sorry Grant and apologies to Melbourne listeners

We have had satellite problems since the storm at 3KND studios.

A chunk of shows will be going online this week including this one which has been a beauty.

Thanks
DSS

A couple of sources.

BS.com had been advised that the WBO ordered their lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez to defend his title against the interim-champion/mandatory challenger Michael Katsidis. The WBO has given both sides 30-days to reach an agreement before a purse bid is ordered. Both fighters are promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

If Marquez decides to move up in weight to fight Khan, the WBO will strip him of their title and make Katsidis the full champion.

AAP reports The camp of Australia's WBO interim lightweight boxing world champion Michael Katsidis are very confident they can secure their charge the "pinnacle fight" of his career against Mexican superstar Juan Manuel Marquez.

The WBO has written to Katsidis and WBA super and WBO full champion Marquez earlier this week, giving them 30 days to negotiate.

I think Katsidis preparation leading into this JMM fight is far better than the preparation leading into the Casamayor fight.
A year a go i thought Katsidis was out of his depth, but i think he has a chance in this 1.

Mate I give Kat a very good chance in this one. The comments on current scene are odd, but not surprising !! If Kats eyes hold up (from cutting) his relentless pressure, regardless of JMM counter punching, could go a long way to causing an upset.
