the Welterweight Scene has been pretty packed with decent boxers for past few years
and what with Brook and Jennings regarded as best 2 fighting and understand odonnell is penciled in to fight Jennings for the British after this fight , where does this leave Mathew hattons possible Next opponent , is he going to fight mediocre European fighters or guys who are past there best or will he be forced to fight number one contenders in Europe.

Do you reckon to prove where he is at the moment with improvements etc he should fight one of the top contenders in Britain , Mark Thomson is out i believe right now so what about Kevin Mcintyre who has just come off the back of a good performance againe Stephen Haughian and is still highly ranked in Britain.

I hope he doesn't fight McIntyre as that would be a step down, IMO. I could see Hatton's strength and straight punching breaching McIntyre's defence. I guess I would love to see a fight between Hatton and the guy who beat Nuzhnenko for the WBA strap, Sechchencko?

Hatton has been well manouvered to get the European belt without having to beat the better Guys in Britain and probably wont ever fight any of them.

i would fancy Brook , Jennings , Thompson , Watson ( if still welter ) , Mcintyre and Odonnell to all beat him.

he most likley fight Non Brits from now on though with route to some sort of "World" title shot.
