You read about it quite often on here 'Ooh, I would love to give the amateur/pro/white collar game a go but I am too old'

Here is a pro heavyweight novice named Mike Heathfield of BC Canada who turned pro at the age of 51 and is currently 2-0 on boxrec. He is not too bad for an old fogey fighting fellers 20 years younger than himself! :box: No excuses boys! :TU:

I won't be much cop but when you see Big Mike at 51 years old - as long as you are fit and healthy and you train for it - you think - why not? :box: Mind you - I am still a pup in comparison to Mike Heathfield! :lol:

I turned pro at 33 years old won 5 lost 5 have a look who i lost to ? Fearn from York, I could go on for another few seasons but think i have been having it to easy with the match making. Good luck to everyone i boxed. Adios ha.
