To keep with the recent Journeyman threads i thought I'd ask Who's your faviorite journeyman?

I like James Ancliff, Youssef Al-Hamidi and Mo Khaled always give there best and give it a hell of a go

Tony Booth was mine! - more wins than Rocky Marciano!!

Alex Spitko gives it a real go; Peter Buckley was the supreme journeyman and should be a trainer. I'm pretty sure he could write a decent book as well.

Ciaran Healy. When he feels like it he can give anyone a good fight.

Jon Baguley is probably the best journeyman in the UK right now.

He's extended pretty much everybody over 6-8 rounds...... stopped Vinny Mitchell too.

I always like watching a French guy Mounir Guebbas, always gives value for money, and gets the odd upset.

I used to like Alvin 'slick' Miller aswell knock-out or be knocked out! Saw him knock out a couple of lads Panix promotions were trying to protect!

On a world level how about Ross Puritty, wins over Derrick Roddy, Jorge Luis Gonzalez, Joe Hipp, Wladimir Klitschko!!

He knows which side his bread is buttered I think. Threw the Cotto fight away, didn't even try against Pacquiao.

In the states, i feel emanuel augustus is the best journey man (also has a winning record) and boxed some of the best fighters in the world

Carl Allen had draws with Lee Meager, Colin Toohey and Dave Stewart and wins over Baz Carey and Dazzo Williams. He gave Tyrone Nurse a better fight then anyone else i've seen- he also floored Gavin Rees.

All time- i'd say Paul Wesley. Life and death with Glenn Catley knock out wins over Neville Brown and Paul 'Silky' Jones- in between losing fights to guys with 1-0 records. Class.

Augustus would probably be my choice too, IMO though I reckon Augustus could have made something more of his career if he had cut out all the pissing around he did in the ring.

That guy took the piss out of fighters and still never got the decision. I assume he settled for being a journey because he was some fighter with great ability, he could have been a genuine world champion with a bit more ambition.

Najib Daho had the fastest turnaround from journeyman to fighting for a world title - he stopped Pat Cowdell in a round and in his next fight fought Barry Michael for the IBF world title at the Granada Studios in Manchester.

Sugar Gilburu was as hard as nails and was also a British champion.

And I also followed the career of Keith Fletcher.

Tony Booth was only a natural light-middle.Its remarkable how tough he was.

Hamidi is a right tricky fighter to face. Hammered and cut up Michael Gomez in Wigan before being stopped.
