Who does Danny green 'owe' you?

Obviously green doesn't owe anyone here a damn thing but after the last fiasco he said the next fight would be worthy of our time. Given the last two opponents and the slide in his repuation as a fighter who takes all comers, who would green need to fight in order to make it up to you?
Honestly after last weekend i think he owes us pascal

Cunningham,Danny's just too good for anyone down in this part of the world, maybe in a couple of years Forsyth and Pitt, but Danny might be gone by then.
No one with a boxing brain is going to accept anything less than a world rated international opponent.

One punch And some new found bottle to get into the ring with a live opponent

A sheep would atleast stand up longer than Briggs and hopefully make it look more convincing

I watched the Green-Jones Jr fight with two other people, one of them was up and comer Faisal Fayed. I was the only one in the room to pick Green, and I have witnesses (I also picked, and put money on, Murdock to beat Green

).

are you for real yid??
u seriously think huck is too much for danny??? danny walks thru that guy IMO. he is a good fighter, but to wide and loose for danny i feel. but prob is i dont think huck fights out of germany, and i dont blame danny for not wanting to go there again after the last 2 times. so that one is out. i would love to see danny take on cunningham, but man that would be close/very hard for danny. but well worth a watch at $50, not like green briggs. and you cant be serious RE: the mountain warrior?? i know danny isnt looking at too many serious opponents right now, but the thread was about who u would like to see him against to make up for the last couple of fights. and shane cameron makes up for nothing. he doesnt deserve to share the same ring as green. he only getting mentioned cos its an aussie/kiwi rivalry. he looked shit in his last fight. i mean he looked fit as, but he didnt fight good at all. so y would he do anything worth watching? i would watch if it were green cameron on a thursday night card for free(followed by green V anyone meaningful by december), but no way is that rot PPV( i think a mundine and green should follow VIC and do the odd fight on fox to give back instead of taking all the time BTW).

There are strong rumors that a CW Super Six is being arranged. The tournament would feature Denis Lebedev, Marco Huck, Steve Cunningham, Yoan Pablo Hernandez, Krzysztof Wlodarczyk, and an undetermined sixth man. Lebedev, Huck, and Wlodarczyk are all more powerful than anyone Green has ever fought. Green is used to overpowering smaller fighters, can he do the same thing against naturally bigger men like these? Cunningham is the most skilled fighter of the group and would definitely trouble Green with his stylish boxing. Hernandez is by far the worst of the mentioned fighters. He is 6'4 and has some pop, but he has a glass chin and is horrifically boring to watch because he is very tentative on account of his limited punch resistance.
I'm sure the chances of Green entering a multiyear tournament like this are slim, but we can dream can't we? After all, Saurerland is hinting that the final participant will be a champion, and Green is the IBO kingpin. I’m sure all boxing fans would be curious to see how he fares against the best cruiserweights in the world.

I'd just watched Murdock knock out Dale Westerman in a sparring session at Malvern, and I got great odds

There's no way Danny Green would enter into the super six!!!
Maybe if the other 5 boxers were Carlos Deleon,Ossie Ocasio,Jeff Lampkin,Ricky Parkey and Roy Jones Jnr..
The names you mention would throw punches back

Jones was the favorite going into the Green fight (search up the prediction thread in the CS) and the copious amount of critiscm aimed at Green was done so in hindsight. At the time, Jones was a top ten LHW, but he was obviously not as good as he once was. I give credit to Danny for beating Jones in the manner that he did--after all RJJ was still world ranked-- however, Jones should not be considered a cruiserweight, and certainly not a world class cruiserweight.
It is time for Danny to fight another world class opponent. The win over the Jones a year ago, he should not keep basking in that glory. If he wants to prove that he is a world class cruiserweight, he needs to fight a world class cruiserweight (Shane Cameron doesn't count).

I think Green is a good fighter who could give the top cruiserweights a go (although I think he would lose to a couple of them), so it disappoints me to say I agree with you. This tournament would involve the best of the best at CW, and would provide the perfect opportunity for Green to prove his cruiserweight worth against top fighters who are still in their primes. If he beat these guys, certainly no one could argue he defeated a shot opponent, as was done after the Jones bout.
