Frankie Gavin is bang on weight target and looked is magnificent form in a six round spar against Patrick Bogere on Friday.
Funtime looked very sharp and at easy and had plenty of energy to save to give Woodhouse a tongue lashing.

Why was the fight cancelled?
why aren't you yourself looking at the British title. I see a very defensive slow starter in Daws who you can easily beat! you could then make this match happen for a title and show everyone what you can do on a headline slot..
I know easier said than done! but i think its a fight that could happen.

Frankie Gavin and any of his supporters are getting me frustrated now!!!
I keep on saying it - even when the Curtis Woodhouse fight was first discussed I stated Woodhouse would be nothing more than a sparring partner and I viewed the fight as a "nothing" fight.
Gavin and his supporters need to look for superior opponents than Woodhouse will provide. No insult intended for Curtis its just I view Frankie as a
possible world level fighter something Woodhouse wont be.
Curtis Woodhouse I will concede will provide very very stern opposition for many fighters - he will probably end up winning a lot of those fights - but Gavin is in my view a very special boxer and as such lets forget the boring talk of a Woodhouse fight.

You know how the business works spud.. If people keep talking about the Woodhouse fight then it will more than likely happen as people wanna see it.. You don't always get what is the best fight you sometimes get what makes commercial and better business sense..

Gavin v Woodhouse will sell tickets and it will be a good TV fight as already mentioned. Funtime will win in about four rounds but you always want to see fights with a bit of spice to them.

Id pay to watch frankie vs curtis, good grudge match. At the level frankie's boxing at at the moment there isnt gonna be anyone really who can compete with him when it comes to pure skills so i dont think this fight is a bad idea!Actually im quite looking forward to it if it comes off!

Without playing dumb i thought it legitimately didnt go ahead due to Curtis getting injured?I could just be very naive which is very possible!

I dont think that fight will happen.Smith will move up a level as degale is going onto british title level i reckon.I think theres more chance of degale vs groves to be honest.
