And so Ladies and Gentlemen we are here, the Quarter Finals.
Alas, the last 8 boxers and their progression will not depend on the luck of the draw... It will be a group stage.
But it is a group stage with a difference,
as this is a fantasy competition
(those of you familiar with the Deadliest Warrior series will recognise this)
Imagine if Muhammad Ali vs Chris Byrd 100 times.
And after each fight, both boxers have no memory of the previous encounters...
The vast majority of people would estimate:
Ali wins 99 times = 99 pts
Byrd wins 1time = 1 pt
In the group the total number of points/wins will decide the final placings.
It's all about the totoal points.
