Is this a joke?
Pavlik-Taylor was a good scrap, between two good fighters --- not a
great scrap, between two
great fighters, ala Mosley-De La Hoya I.
Not much of a debate, IMO. The first & final rounds of Mosley-De La Hoya I were better than anything offered in the first Pavlik-Taylor bout.

Both exciting fights, the difference being the skill level on display with Mosley/DLH, and the fact that it went the distance.

On the other hand, at least it was a clean bout --- we all know now that that dirty, swindling grub (who couldn't pull a crowd with all the sugar in the world, mind) was juicing. Bastard

Oscar/Mosley by a significant margin. That final round was as good as it gets. The whole fight really. Oscar up at the halfway point, looks like the bigger man is in command and then Shane took it up a notch.
Pavlik/Taylor was fun and exciting. Oscar/Shane was great and you knew you were watching two of the world's absolute best go at it.

That final round was sublime.
