HARRISON UNDERSERVING

WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP THROWING MONEY AT AUDLEY HARRISON . THE BBC DID IT FOR 2 YEARS AND THE OUTCOME WAS SO BAD THEY HAVEN'T SHOWN A LIVE BOXING MATCH SINCE !! IN THE LAST FEW YEARS HARRISON HAS WANDERED ABOUT THE FRINGES OF HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING ,BEEN GIVEN CHANCES TO REDEEM HIMSELF HE DIDN'T DESERVE , AND FAILED MISERABLY . FINALLY AFTER BEING TOTALLY INEPT AGAINST MICHAEL SPROTT HE LANDS A LAST GASP LUCKY PUNCH ( AND IF YOU LOOK AT IT AGAIN HE LANDS THE LEFT HOOK WITH THE KNUCKLES VERTICAL ) AND SUDDENLY HE FINDS HIMSELF FIGHTING FOR A VERSION OF THE WORLD TITLE .
I WOULD SUGGEST THAT SEXTON , CHISORA AND OLUMBAMIWO ( IS THAT HOW YOU SPELL IT ) ARE MORE DESERVING OF A SHOT THAN HARRISON , ALTHOUGH OF COURSE NONE OF THEM ARE CLOSE ( YET ) TO WORLD CLASS .
APPARENTLY THIS CONTEST ( I WOULDN'T CALL IT A FIGHT ) IS BEING SHOWN ON PPV .EVERYBODY CAN MAKE THEIR OWN CHOICE IF THEY TAKE THIS UP OR NOT BUT I WOULDN'T ACCEPT A FREE RINGSIDE TICKET !!! I THINK I MIGHT BE WATCHING PAINT DRYING THAT NIGHT .

Unfortunately these days it seems anyone can land a world title fight as long as you have the right promotor/manager,and as for the punch he beat sprott with, yes it looked awkward but i don't think it was lucky,he badly needed a knockout and got it.whether he deserves it or not doesn't matter when it makes a big load of cash for both that's all that counts i'm afraid, and having watched the press conference on the bbc i think haye is rattled by audley already and it will be him with all the pressure to perform not audley

Jesus f'n Christ, I swear you people would disagree that water was wet if Audley threw a bucket of the stuff over you. Did you actually watch that fight or read anything about it? Because either a) you didn't, or b) you're so biased that you refuse the evidence of your own eyes.
Again (again again again again again) there were very valid reasons for that performance. It's nothing to do with whether or not he deserves a world title shot, it's just infuriating that people won't even acknowledge - much less give credit for - Audley doing something for which Danny Williams was afforded near-mythical status.

True, but Williams didn't get a world title fight from it, and he didn't have four losses on his record, and it was many rounds before the scheduled end, and.... and.... and.....

This morning, my secretary of 10 years (who has never discussed ANY sport before) said to me that Audley Harrison was fighting the world champion and had worn dark glasses at the press conference she watched on tv and the bloke he was fighting was really fit and articulate. If I had mentioned to her Sexton, Chisora, or Olumbamiwo, she wouldnt have known them from Tom, Dick or Harry.
Thats why Audley is fighting David.
In life, the only thing we get what we deserve is our face, after the age of 45.
Besides, its a bloody good fight. Todays equivalent of Cooper v Bugner. Shame its on in Manc Land.

What has the amount of rounds before the scheduled end got to do with it?
And while not a world title shot, Williams got a shot at Tyson on the back of LOSING to Sprott.
