Former World title challenger Andrew Golota continued his comeback with a 6th round Ko over Terrence Lewis.
Now it was very strongly rumoured, infact announced on Seconds out, that Golota has signed a deal with Fight Academy. Does anybody know if this was just a rumour (it does sound that way) or did they have some involvement with this American bill.

This rumour has been running for several months after talk of Golota relocating to England in the Summer and going for the European title. But then came the fight in the States and everyone assumed it was BS. Who knows? Until he has a definite fight here, we won't know what's going on with him.

As far as I am aware Fight Academy have a contract signed by Golota's people but Fight Academy have not signed this themselves.
This is because the contract calls for Golota to be paid a minimum of $50000 dollars per fight in the UK. Fight Academy need BBC backing for a show of this size to make it pay.
Maybe the BBC have not warmed to Golota, who knows.
An ideal situation would be to have Golota beat Hide, then Williams, then go for Sanil Sam.
For what its worth IMO Sanil Sam beats Golota, Hide and Williams (again)

Yes i heard he had signed with Dennis Hobson but i think it was a load of crap, The Sun were the first people to release the story so maybe it has grown from there.
