Where is Kevin Mitchell ?

It's been 5 months... not seen a word breathed about him since his demolition loss to Katsidis ?
I think that's harsh mate. I thought he boxed brilliantly against Prescott and his fight with Johanson was a fight of the year candidate. I agree that there's a lot of padding on his record, but he's got the skill, chin and power to go somewhere. Whether he is genuine world class is one thing, but with FW as his promoter he'll get another shot at somethingHappy Slapper wrote:Back in December to fight another no-hoper. Genuinely the most padded record allegedly has ever put together. He's rubbish.

Any more padded than Gavin Rees who then snatched the WBA belt and was WBO number 1 for about 15 years.Happy Slapper wrote:Back in December to fight another no-hoper. Allegedly can't put him in a competitive fight again - he'll get destroyed even quicker.

Top form. On Mitchell v Prescott: "he weren't just 'ungry, he was faaackin' starvin".MachoMan09 wrote:Danny Flex', was Jimmy in good form? Somebody should write a biog' or ghost an autobiog' about him; he's the ultimate old school boxing man. A dying breed.
Hey Slapper. Personally you are being a bit harsh here. Mitchell is a good, entertaining fighter. He might not be cut out for world level, or is Katsidis actually that good who knows. He got beat in 2 rounds of a world class oponent, thats not too embarrassing. I hope he comes back better and stronger and has learnt a bit more defence, then we will see how good he is.Happy Slapper wrote:Okay maybe rubbish was a bit OTT, but he is many levels below what a lot of people think/thought he is/was and that will get shown again if he steps up.
