Trouble at Mag 7 ?

A reliable source who was there said a load of BCFC fans attacked a load of Welsh supporters after Enzo got knocked out.

A loud shriek was heard from the crowd and apparently a security guy got lobbed of a balcony.

Anyone else hearing these reports coming through ?

Someone mentioned this in another topic. If it's coming from different sources I guess there must be some truth to it. Yikes, I hope the guy is OK.

Security guard over a balcony sounds pretty bad to me. Hopefully sounds worse than it is.

Was 5 yards away, worst brawl I've ever seen. Zulus like fornicating dogs round a bone. Absolutely disgusting with kids in that section as well.

Several times on here or in publications, comments have been made regarding a lack of proper security at certain shows. Would this be the case here or was it 'unpreventable'?

Matthew - the security employed by the promoter at big venues is employed to look after the dressing room area, ringside and the TV area - the fee charged by the Arena normally incorporates their own security which are employed to deal with the public - so I guess in this case - blame the arena not the promoter.

The security needs to be improved massively but i think the real problem is seating different sets of fans next to each other especially when there is a football mentality to them.

Football and Boxing have always gone hand in hand and certain boxers will attract loyal football fans and therefore football hooligans too.

It was preventable to a degree, the chanting had been going on for a while some of which was racist, and then when it kicked off one security guard got stuck in with very ittle help and all you heard was 'c**n' and about 20 of them were into him. Went on about 3 minutes, police nowhere to be seen. Shocking.

Frankie's fight was stopped with seconds left in the 5th. Frankie was in control throughout - he was patient, whipped in some lovely body shots and long lefts to the head - won at a canter really, controlling the distance and pace of the fight with ease.
