I have just read on the allegedly website that he is thinking of making Enzo a promoter for shows in wales.I think this is a great iedea.He is very personable, has achieved a lot in the sport and used to tv work, and will keep him involved.A top bloke, and I was very sorry to see his loss at the weekend.That referee really let him down there, I feel.

That is a very decent gesture, apparently brought about by Enzo's loyalty. Fair play

he should set another type of buisness up.

FW is the sort of bloke who looks after his own, and was prob very pleased when Macca left the Calzaghe's despite being very friendly with them.
Obv FW is a bad fella to get on the wrong side of if you want to look at the other side of the coin!!
However while it is great he still wants to look after Enzo, the fact remains the Welshman is a fighter not a promoter, Hatton has shown promoting is a license to throw money away, it really is a hard job unless you know what you are doing. And furthermore there isn't much to promote in Wales!

I thought it was FW giving Enzo a salary to work for him in Wales, being a Welsh star and all that, people will warm to him more than FW. I did not get the impression it was FW using Enzo's cash to promote. What would be the point?

Anyway, what better man than FW to teach you the ropes, he is the biggest UK promoter after all.


Message to all?? Look after FW, and he will look after you.

FW has treated Enzo very,very well.I also think Clev got fast tracked due to staying loyal after the Calzaghe breakup.FW rewards loyalty,look at the fighters he has put Arnies way.

Big Enzo has charisma, and obviously a touch of ruthlessness, which makes him a great choice of promoter. He proved popular in Italy when he fought over there and maybe he could branch out one day.
