Wondering who you think should be next for the 7 winners at the magnificent 7. Personally i think it should be:

Chisora--Ruslan Chagaev
DeGale--Stevie McGuire
Cleverly--Juergen Braehmer
Frenkel--Ola Afolabi
Konecny--Daniel Santos
Brook--Jan Zaveck
Macklin--Darren Barker
Gavin--David Barnes

Santos?!?! He's completely done.

I doubt you'll see either Konecny or Frenkel on a FW show again, unless Rhodes is fighting under him and decides to get his old title back, which is looking unlikely.

I don't think Macklin/Barker will ever happen. I think Macklin will go for Sebastian Sylvester.

as youk now mate Konecny is my new favourite fighter and i would love to see him - Rhodes: any idea why it wouldn't happen? didn't FW get options on Kocecny?

gavin - barnes isn't out of the question IMO
Macklin - Sylvester agreed
Chisora- god knows, i am guessing a Skelton/Sprott type?

From what I understood, Macklin and Rhodes had the most tenuous of promotional agreements with FW with regards to this promotion. Rhodes had a pretty strongly worded statement in the wake of vacant title being up for grabs, saying he wasn't consulted and first he heard he read it in the paper/internet. Also on top of that there's some sort of low-level row with him/FW about how injured he was, with particular regard to him running a half marathon, which Rhodes contends he only ran the last 100 yards of for some promotional thing etc etc and Coldwell had to retract/clarify a statement he'd made earlier about "training" Rhodes in the run-up to the pull out.

I'm saying it doesn't really sound/look good. I would be surprised if Rhodes fought on a FW show, despite FW's shrewd use of options on the Czech dude, who I liked the look of (too!).

Yeah, I'd imagine he'd dig up someone like Sprott

Chageav might be a bit much for Del Boy at this stage. Sosnowski would be a good step up for him, someone at Euro level.
Would love to see DeGale fight Groves or Paul Smith next.
Macklin-Barker would be great too, I think he's ready for a world title bout against Sturm or Sylvester as well.

Some interesting calls.

Chisora--Ruslan Chagaev - Think Dr devious nailed that one Chag is probably a bit much, but Sosnowski would be a good challenge, world title showing and all he's still only a couple of years past getting beaten by Lawrence, toiling with a shot Williams (yep reckon he was sliding even then) and drew with Pianeta (bit of a robbery in fairness to Albert - but Pianeta's as limited as hell, pretty record or not.

DeGale--Stevie McGuire - Don't like this one, no disrespect to my countryman, but DeGale already passed this level when he beat Dilks, McGuire probably bring the same if not less to the table. Smith/Groves are obvious, but how's about someone along the lines of Gevor. He's lost a couple, probably above his best weight, but still would set a different problem from most of his opponents so far.

Cleverly--Juergen Braehmer
Yep and failing Braehmer, reckon Campillo, Shumenov, Henry are at a similar level and all offer different problems. Definitely don't think Clev could fight in the same style against Braehmer or Henry.

Frenkel--Ola Afolabi
We could be waiting all night for one of them to throw a lead :) , but FW wont be having a hand on Frenkel unless I'm mistaken.

Konecny--Daniel Santos
Santos looks shot. How about a crack at Bundrage?

Brook--Jan Zaveck
Reckon FW puts brook in with another fighter at a similar level fairly soon to keep him focused and busy. Looked rusty as hell against Jennings, but Jennings is hard as hell to look good against. Think Zaveck's better than people give him credit for. What about N'Dou or Bailey before making the push for a title. Don't think Brook should be going staright into a title shot after the Jennings performance.

Macklin--Darren Barker
never gonna happen

Gavin--David Barnes
Bad fight for barnes after over two years out (other than 3 rounds in prizefighter). How's about Nigel Wright? Coming of two good wins, tough fella, solid fighter. Gavin should beat him with room to spare but I think it would be a good gauge of Frankie's progress so far.
