if he fights a 12 rounder on october 30th i doubt he will be available for 11th december! 5 weeks is not long enough to prepare..i believe that is the only reason warren is making the offer.

Part of me wants to see this fight now, but another part of me thinks give it 18 months and it would be a real blockbuster.

why is groves now talking about further down the road

if he dont take this he's mugged himself :!: degale & frank are putting up & doing groves a favour for all his hard work for promoting the fight repeatedly.

groves need's the publicity & fame as degale has allready got it. & for someone mentioning on here frank has only done it b'coz groves is out next month is the most pathetic post ive read in a good while :shame: h.o.b.b keep that up & i'll get all smigga on ur ass :!: :DD

it's funny how you used to argue with smigga, but now all you do is go on about "he seems like a good bloke" which is mad gay. and do you think 5 weeks is enough to prepare for the biggets fight of groves career? :surprised: then you clearly are retarded, and why will groves look bad? degale and warren wanted nothing to do with him earlier this year and cant be expected to fight two scheduled 12 rounders in 6 weeks!!!

I'd LOVE to just see Groves do an interview just once, where he doesn't mention or compare himself to David Haye.

He's that far up Haye's arse he can almost touch Adam Booth's feet.

It is embarrassing how desperate he is and I really hope his opponent in October is a powder puff puncher and NOT a test, 'cos the DeGale fight won't be there if his whiskers kop for one.

i dont dislike anyone on here, even you. im hurlock  this is dungeon & dragons shiit in my eye's :DDD im not on here to make friends or enemies, just pure boxing debate & give my take.

i do know is gay if you care to know?

back to the subject, is degale boxing before december?? if not groves only boxed a few week's back.

will groves let a date slip to earn the biggest packet he will be set to make in the next 18months not too mention what comes with it,IF he fancies it ofcourse

if groves dont take it he can quit calling out degale, simple as.

dilks beat adamu & degale surpassed groves achievment wit  h his performance at the lg arena.

I hope this happens, time for Groves to shut up and show if he is good enough or not. Hate him, but Degale is looking good.

Everyone knows full well that it ain't going to happen. Does anyone really think Warren isn't going to demand options to make the fight happen? C'mon guys, if Warren wanted options on Magee to fight Smith, he's certainly going to for a fight with his Golden Goose. And you've got 48 hours to sign for the fight or forget it. That doesn't really come across as a genuine offer does it?

And yes, I agree. Groves needs to stop comparing himself to David Haye. It sounds pathetic.

yes degale looked very good against dilks..but dilks wasn't hurt and the fight was stopped way too early, im convinced carl would have took degale past the 6th but there was only going to be 1 winner.

I said before the fight and I will say it now. Carl froze. Completely. He's been on here and admitted to that. Degale is classes above Carl who had a basic amateur career with no national titles and has boxed no one as a pro to compensate. He makes basic mistakes and is novice like still after a few years as a pro. I sound harsh but it's the truth. Degale is an Olympic Gold medallist, 50+ internationals, ABA titles at every level, classy, fast, few mistakes and his best win is probably equal to Dilks' as a pro!
Carl took a lot of clean shots and had no speed at all compared to Degale's. He didn't know what to do with him.
The stoppage looked early I agree as the shots which led to the ref jumping in didn't land, but it was only delaying the inevitable which would have happened in the next round.

dilks wasnt complaining, he never even realised degale had been pulled of him.look at the stoppage & see his face & how out of breath he was. the stoppage was right. it's better early then late & you'd think people would understand this after enzo's exit.
& there's no way i think dilks would av got done like that, he needed a slap when he got back to the corner to get him going but mr.foster has the best view & has great judgement & expieriance are best ref by a mile.

I completely agree,as much as anything Carl froze on the night!Although obviously the talent different was always going to be a factor!
