My grandfather Harry Bowman has very little information written about him. He died at the age of 35yrs was a milkman in Surry Hills Sydney. It was great to find your site and see the bouts he had. Thank you for recording this. How I wish that there was a photo or something with his birthdate on it he's such a mystery. His ID numbers are 361961 and 363710 if anyone out there can direct me to maybe his registration for boxing I would really like to know. I grew up in Newtown and I think that the Olympia AC became the Newtown Police Boys Club? can anyone confirm? Thanks Sylvia.

If you live in the big smoke, take a trip to the library. They'll show you where & how to search for newspaper articles of that era, which might contain a photo. I doubt you'll have luck with date of birth.
