I was just thinking that Sosnowski would be a good test next for chisora,he was the european champion who relinquished his belt to go and fight Vitali Klitschko and he's beaten Danny williams aswell so I think that would be a good test for Chisora.Whats everyone elses thoughts on that potential fight?

Excellent suggestion, though perhaps Chisora will look to defend his British and/or Commonwealth title next?
In that regard, who's available? Skelton and Sprott are tied to Prizefighter on Oct 2, though it's not unfeasible that if either of them won the tourney, they'd be available for a Dec title shot.
British: Fury (no chance!), Larry (unlikely), Rogan (what are his plans?)
Commonwealth: Leapai is always fun, but I think he has a rematch with Walker coming up. Cameron? How about Meehan? That might be a sensible match. Meehan's not going to have many better offers and Chisora could get a WBA ranking by beating him.

I think the commonwealth title is the way forward for now - Meehan would be good as would fighters like Kelston Maxwell, Neven Pajic, Solomon Haumono or - I know this would be nice but it will never happen - bringing over someone like Kirk Johnson! or Frans Botha!

Don't see why he can't be moved onto the next level now and challenge for the European Crown, Dimitrenko won it recently I think and Frank has proved he can get the Germans over. Dimitrenko would be a cracking test for Chisora and would open some doors if he could do a number on the big man.

Botha would be good, too - big name, comes to fight, certainly beatable.

Sosnowski is a good shout.
Domestically? I suspect Dallas would love a bash at revenge for the ABA Final. From memory, Chisora can consider himself fortunate he got the nod that night. Tom might need a further test first though.

Sosnowski boxes Paul Butlin in Wigan on Saturday. So he will be "primed" for a December showdown.

Sosnowski would be the ideal next step for Chisora. Exciting to see how far Del boy can go in the heavyweights

Meehan would be a good shout but his KO1 loss to Danny makes it hard for Del Boy to improve on. Its a spanner in the promotion of that fight.

And the fact that he's 40.

Chisora v Fury has to happen. Been winding each other up for months now, and this is the perfect time for the fight to happen. it will create more interest than a
z fest against Sosnowski.

Sosnowski is on the undercard to John Murray fighting a bum.
Would be a great fight. Sosnowski will come back better from the Klit defeat.

I can see your point Tony, however dont you think as Chisora steps up in levels he needs to fight varying types of opponents with different styles? Its all good saying Chisora vs Rogan would be more entertaining which it would but does that help Chisora in the longer term?

That result was a bit of a Tua-Ruiz. Sure, it can't be ignored, but it was long enough ago to no longer be relevant. Meehan has proved his durability since.

Yes, and Ruiz was 38 when he fought Haye. Point being he had proved his durability and world standing.
And anyway, while Meehan's age is not exactly a marketing point, as with any boxer I prefer to look at the form guide than the bare stats. In that regard, Meehan recently went 12 with Chagaev, which is decent form, and on top of that he's WBA-ranked, so the rewards for beating him* would be obvious.
*(Moot point if Chisora fights Wlad)

I would be very shocked if they bring a 40 year old fiji heavyweight overhere who hasn't beaten anybody of note, as for a 38 year old Ruiz when he fought Haye - it was a total mis-match. Put that together with the fact that John Ruiz was one of the worst heavyweight champ of recent times I'm not sure why you bought it up.
