Hare Opponent.

Any ideas guys who will be fighting Haye on the 4th of December. Still a TBA shown on boxing central. Hobson and Robinson are making appearance on the bill as is Michael Jones (vs Darren Rhodes). I believe it is Michael's first fight back since his suprise defeat by Jamie Moore. I wish him well.
Not a bad bunch of fighters, lets hope the main event doesn't dissapoint.

No idea who they'll bring in for Hare. His last fight was a tough 'un, so it won't be anyone too threatening, despite his high world ranking.
By the way, Michael Jones had a comeback fight on the Brodie-Chi bill, which he won. He's gunning for a rematch with Jamie Moore. Moore is keen to win a Lonsdale Belt outright so it could happen. Jones suffered a perforated eardrum in their April fight and had trouble with his balance all night.

Just the 9 losses then. The only name I recognise is Frederic Klose who is of course the current EBU champ.
Tough but limited by the looks of it. Just the kind of guy for Hare to look good against.

I read that to Real Deal, surely a blunder - Mayorga and Spinks wouldn't have collided.

He will be fighting either Ener Julio or Cosme Rivera.
Julio is ranked 61 in the world ratings (Boxrec) and his record is 25-5-1 (18 KOs).Rivera has not boxed since 02 and is not ranked his record is 25-7-2 (17 KOs).

Julio would probably be Hare's toughest fight. Victory here and I think he'll start to become worthy of a world's top ten ranking.

Hare has already beaten Jan Bergman, a better scalp than Julio for sure, and he did it in very impressive style too.
I've been following Hare ever since his fight with John 'Boy' humphrey, which is the first fight I saw of his. Although not a power puncher, he hits with crisp shots, and is defensively excellent.
I really think he could be the best welterweight from the British Isles in quite soem time, but there's a way to go yet.

Yeah, but you have to admit that ranking is a little bit undeserved. He's currently worthy of a place in the top 20 (maybe top 15) but 3 is a little high.
Disagree with James, I think on current level Julio does provide a sterner test than Bergman (who looked shot in his fight before). While Bergman maybe a bigger name, I think Julio is the better fighter currently.

I have to agree with Stujones,
IMO, (As an outsider)
Bergman may be a bigger name in England & South Africa, but Julio has the bigger name in Latin America & the USA.
His accomplishment of winning the WBO title has a bit more value than any title Bergman has won.
He also would be a better benchmark as he just lost a decision to Kyvelos.
