It is time fot this great boxer to be in the hall in Canastota, NY. What happened? Why this guy is in the hall of fame and Barry McGuigan is in?

Pretty good fighter to be sure, but it would be hard to make an argument for him with just one win over a HOF'er, and his 2-4 record in title fights. Your best bet would be to hope Paddy DeMarco and Del Flanagan get in so Dupas' wins over those guys make his case look better.

I am so fvcking sick of hearing about Barry McGuigan brought up every time we discuss whether someone should be HOF material.

Why you get so mad? There is nothing to be mad about. Dupas fought over 100 fights with the best opposition available. Yes, I didn't challenge that.
I just said every time we discuss whether someone is HOF material, we have the inescapable, "Well, Barry McGuigan's in there." One mistake doesn't mean everyone should be held to that standard indefinitely.

Dupas was very good indeed. He fought the best competition of the 1950s and 60s from lightweight all the way to middleweight.
He beat this great quality of opposition:
W10 Del Flanagan (Flanagan should be also in the hall)
W10 Kenny Lane (Lane should also be in the hall)
W10 Gil Turner
W10 Gaspar Ortega
W10 Paddy DeMarco (Another one that should be in the hall)
W10 Cisco Andrade
W15 Denny Moyer (Another fighter that should be in the hall). Beat Moyer twice, taking the World Jr. Middleweight Crown from him.
W10 Joey Giardello
W10 Virgil Akins
He also fought the great Emile Griffith for the World Welterweight Crown, but lost by decision in 15 rounds. No shame in that. He was the World Jr. Middleweight Champion in 1963. Fought over 135 bouts in 16 years as a pro. That is a great resume. Was a good and slick boxer. Did not had the punch, though.
