I thought he beat Duddy but apparently I'm in the minority.

I saw his brother Gilbert box when he was about 10-0 and suffer the most horrific knockout (either at the elephant and castle or york hall), it made last weeks Enzo macc knockdown seem tame. He was never the same after that. I used to love watching the Eastman brothers though. Shame about Howard losing certainly time to hang-up the gloves can't imagine he's even getting paid much dough for a 4 rounder in a non-boxing island.

Quite a few boxers have been from Guyana including Gairy St. Clair, Vivian Harris and Wayne Braithwaite.

Eastman brought his parrot 'Tyson' into the gym once, as he was showing him off, it almost bit his thumb off.

He's from there originally.

Both countries are part of our glourious commonwealth! And Guyana is home to the famous writer E.R. Braithwaite who penned the fabulous 'To Sir With Love'

That's what I thought aswell, I just asumed as it was a West Indian country it would be a carribean island, instead it's part of the South American mainland fair enough same region. I certainly didn't think it was in Africa!

Easy mistake to make as it's referred to as part of the Caribbean

I speak to his brother Nigel on Facebook sometimes. He said nobody back in Britain has seen him since he moved and barely even hears from him, so I assume he's moved for good.

You might be right... and he'll sleepwalk through his quarter-final only to drop a decision and then complain about it.

GUYANA WHICH IS IN THE SOUTH AMERICAN MAINLAND IS ACTUALLY PART OF THE WEST INDIES ALSO.
