I was just wondering is this guy ever going to get the breaks that he deserves!I know he's got a WBC eliminator coming up against Ali Cheeba but everytime he seems to have a big fight lined up it ends up falling through!Anyway rant over,i just think he deserves his chance.I wouldnt mid seeing him against Paul Mccloskey to be honest but economics will dictate that the fight will never happen as Olusegun is too much of a risk and not enough reward for mccloskey so its understandable!Ive heard that Kaizer Mazuba is next in line for a crack at Alexander which doesnt make sense to me because Olusegun and Cheeba have been slated to fight each other for awhile!Whatever happens it looks like Alexander is probably gonna get stripped but it wont matter if he ends up fighting bradley.

Agreed.
He's a good fighter, but nobody identifies with him.
He comes across a bit bland and nobody interviews him.
Who even promotes him?

I remember there was talk of him fighting Junior Witter, but he apparantly priced himself out of that fight. Not sure what he was asking for but Hennessey never struck me as being an especially good payer.

Another fighter who deserves far better than he's experienced over the past couple of years is Craig Watson - perhaps FW would do him justice?

Totally agree with this. He is very good and has been dominant domestically for a while now. He really deserves his chance to show how good he is. Definately avoided.

i recall his fight with gary reid. he was showing off, thinking he was looking good. when in fact he came across as faffing about, slapping with sloppy shots and doing redundant flashy stuff. none of this could disguise the fact that he couldn't budge an opponent he was favoured to thrash.
stopped watching him after that. what's he doing these days?

last few fights have been sloppy.
he needs a challenge.
hopefully this upcoming eliminator will focus him.
always thought he could beat junior witter going back 3 or 4 yrs.
easy.

He doesn't sell a lot of tickets and as has been mentioned, can appear flashy while fighting. I think he needs to fight someone above the current level of opposition and we might find out how good he is. I don't think he endeared himself by calling out Witter and Hatton after every fight when I think the general feeling at the time was that he hadn't earned it. I remember he used to say that had he gone to the U.S. rather than Britain he would have been world champ by now, and he was saying that 3 years ago. I think he's a good fighter and has at least earned the right to a bigger fight than he has been getting, but unfortunately it doesn't always work out like that.

i certainly would be surprised if he sold many tickets. and sky won't be too bothered about him because he's not the dominant force he looked vs pryce and numbembe. didn't he draw with lenny daws or nigel wright? or have a really close fight? he didn't look like the much avoided destroyer, he looked like an extremely ugly and awkward fighter who doesn't make for good TV.
