Cherifi worth a few quid

Skybet are offering odds of better than 3/1 (10/3) on Hacine Cherifi's chances tomorrow in Belfast against unbeaten local southpaw Brian Magee. The Frenchman might be worth a few quid. He's a proven tough guy. I think this is a fight that will definitely go the distance.

Bennie - I agree, those are good odds.
Though in light of recent "decisions" in boxing...if it did go the distance I'd expect Magee to be awarded the fight (pretty much regardless of what happened..)

Annoyingly enough, Bet365 are not posting any odds on the Belfast show (or certainly they weren't when I last looked). They seem to be the only British bookies that also offer odds on fights going 'under' or 'over' a set number of rounds. I would bet at least a tenner on Magee-Cherifi going over any stipulated distance. I think it's going to go all the way.
