Anyone got any info on Daniel Teasdale? He turns pro on Sunday and will be trained by Herol Graham.

Apparently he was a good amateur. Does anyone know how good? What weight is he? Thoughts on how he'll do in the pro ranks? I'm going along to the Rotherham show so I'll have an idea myself but thought I'd ask folks here first.

There was a small piece on him a couple of weeks back, but there's nothing on his amateur achievements. Ulysses should be able to help there.

FORMER top amateur Daniel Teasdale has turned pro with Herol Graham in his corner as trainer.
Rotherham 21-year-old Teasdale, an ex-England boxer, has assembled a backroom team that reads like a who's who of boxing.
While ex-champion Graham is in charge of his preparations, Sheffield Boxing Centre's Glyn Rhodes will manage him and Tommy Gilmour is his promoter.
Teasdale will make his debut in the middleweight division on November 23 at Koncrete Promotions Sunday afternoon show at The Magna Centre.
Teasdale is being pitted against Worcester jouneyman Harry Butler in a contest over six two minute rounds.

He was a decent amateur, but Martin Conception banged him CLEAN out.

There was someone posting as Danny T (I think) on eastside not long ago - asking for opinions on prospects.

A few suggested that was him.

All i know is what I've read about him in books about Naseem.

Jesus, Lugh, you're hard work today. Just because England won the rugby. What does it say on Teasdale in those books on Naseem?

Just that he had the proverbial rough upbringing, lived in a caravan I think. He used to get quite a hard time at the hand of Naz, verbally. Didn't sound like he (Teasdale) liked him (Naz) at all.

I remember some story about Ryan Rhodes (or someone) bringing Teasdale a programme back froma big fight in the US and Naz kicking up a stink (I think!) 'cos he didn't get one - they might even have taken Teasdale instead of Naz) - can't remember. (note to self - smoke less draw)

II think he must have been in the Wincobank since childhood, so it's a fair guess what he fights like.

The name rings a definate bell - and something tells me Lugh is right. Isn't he the guy who Hamed hammered in sparring when just a Kid.

I read that Naz winded him one time.
