Chacon
nice thread alex. Mitchell's a bit under-rated IMO, has a funny 'look' to his style but was pretty well-schooled.
I think hernandez would be that bit too long-armed and technically good, the jab would keep Mitchell at the right range and Gennaro moved well enough to outpoint him
FMJ just too good
Barrerra would be an interesting one- he wasn't really a combination puncher at 130lbs, and wouldn't be nearly strong enough to shift Mitchell with single shots. he's get through with plenty of classy well-picked shots but Mitchell would be outworking him most of the time, and alos pushing him around the ring with his extra size. I think Mitchell takes this one especially as its several lbs above MAB's best weight
JMM just has enough counterpunching to beat Mitchell but it would be a very good fight IMO, like a mini JMM-Diaz, but Mitchell wouldn't be going so hell for leather for the KO and so wouldn't be getting KO'd himself. JMM, as so often, would have to drag himself through with the pace Mitchell would be setting, but if Tony Lopez can fight nearly even with Mitchell, i think JMM takes the close or split decision, here.
chacon would be a helluva fight and would look not unlike the first Lopez - Mitchell miniclassic. i'd take Mitchell to outwork and outlast Chacon the same way Boza did first time out, 7-5 type points win.
