In my opinion yes. He's the best SMW in history. Fought a lot of very good, albeit not elite fighters and came through unscathed.

The current SMW division is making him look even better with the openess of the super 6 tournament.

It would have been nice to see him in with the likes of Roy Jones / Hopkins earlier, but lets face it he only moved up to Light Heavy when he was in decline, and he still put them 2 names on his CV.

Joe is undoubtedly an all time great, whether he IS THE all time great that's another issue BUT in my opinion he is certainly a contender, no more than that.....

calzaghe never fought the best when they were at thier best

good fighter but never in a millions years an alltime great

without a doubt calz is an ATG. he would give any SMW from any era trouble.
